How to Enable Copilot4DevOps Features

This document describes how to access new features in Modern Requirements4DevOps, including Version and Variant Management and Copilot4DevOps. These features are available under the Enterprise / Enterprise Plus licenses and require a one-time license sync.

Version and Variant Management – License Sync

All users must sync the license key from the Licensing page to see new features. This is a one-time activity.

Steps:
1. Go to Organization Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and under Extensions select Modern Requirements4DevOps.
3. Click on the Licensing tab.
4. Click Sync License and confirm by clicking OK.
5. After resync, the system automatically signs the user out.
6. Re-login to Modern Requirements by opening any MR module.
7. The Version and Variant option will now be visible under Boards.

Copilot4DevOps – Organization Settings

Copilot4DevOps is available under the Modern Requirements4DevOps Enterprise License. Users must sync the license to enable this feature.

Steps:
1. Navigate to Organization Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Modern Requirements4DevOps under Extensions.
3. Open the General tab.
4. Check the option Copilot4DevOps Organization Settings.
5. Save the changes.
6. Sign out and sign back in to any Modern Requirements4DevOps hub.
7. Copilot4DevOps will be available in Smart Docs, Version Packages, FAQ, Work Item context menus, Backlogs, and Queries.

Note for Offline Activation Users

Users who were previously activated using offline activation must regenerate their request file and send it to support@modernrequirements.com to enable these features.
