Generating Connected Diagrams
Users can generate connected diagrams from a main diagram.
The user can open that Work item which was specifically generated from Copilot4DevOps Diagram feature.

2. The system will prompt you to proceed with the existing diagram or create a new one.

3. At this point, choose whether you want to continue with the existing diagram or create a new one. Click the “Yes” button to proceed with the existing diagram and switch to the latest version of that diagram thread, or click the “No” button to create a new diagram using the selected work item as the context.

4. Make modifications to the existing diagram if required.

Publishing a Connected Diagram
A Connected Diagram can be published only into the Existing WI (where it was published initially).
Existing Work Item
Follow these step-by-step instructions to successfully publish a connected diagram to an existing work item:
1. Begin by clicking the Publish button to initiate the process.

2. After clicking the Publish button, you will be prompted to select the Existing Work Item option. This allows you to associate the diagram with an existing work item.

3. A pop-up window titled Publish to Existing Work Item will open.

4. The parent work item will be pre-selected and locked. Users won't be able to modify it.

5. In this step, the relevant Work Item Field will be pre-filled based on the parent work item configuration.

6. Next, you will be presented with checkboxes for selecting whether you want the Explanation and the Diagram Markdown to be included along with the diagram.
Note: If the 'Include Explanation' checkbox is not enabled, it indicates that the diagram's explanation has not been generated yet. Should the user click the checkbox, the explanation will be generated in real time. If the explanation has already been generated, the checkbox will be selected by default.

7. The "Replace Selected Information" option will also be freezed.

8.Click on the Publish button to finalize the process.

9. Your diagram has been successfully published to the existing work item.

Saving the Connected Diagram
1. After generating or modifying the Connected Diagram, click on the Save As option in the interface.

2. Choose the desired format for saving the Connected Diagram:
• Word File (.docx): Includes the Diagram, Explanation, and Diagram Markdown.
• PDF File (.pdf): Includes the Diagram, Explanation, and Diagram Markdown.
• Image File (.svg): Saves the Diagram as a standalone image.

3. Once the format has been selected the file is downloaded. Click on the downloaded file.

4. The user can view the downloaded file.
