Based on Work Item(s)
1. In the "Perform Impact Assessment based on:" dropdown, select "Work Item(s)."


2. Click on the “Select work item(s)" link to open the selection window.


3. User can select multiple work items using ID or Title.

4. After selecting the desired work items, click "OK" to add them to the source work items list.


5. By default, on the selection of work item type, certain fields would be auto selected i.e. For Bug work item, Repro Steps field would be shown auto selected. For Test Case work item, Steps field would be auto selected. For User Story, Description and Acceptance Criteria fields would be shown auto selected. While for any other work item type, Description field would be shown selected. However, user can remove any of these if required.

6. User can also select other fields of the selected work items from the dropdown.

7. In the right section, click on "Select work item(s)" link to open the selection window.


8. User can select work items through a query or by entering ID/Title.

9. User can select multiple work items using ID or Title.

10. After selecting the desired work items, click "OK" to add them to the source work items list.


11. User can also get the linked work items of defined change work item(s) by clicking on the link "Auto select linked work items". It will add linked work items (of Change work item(s) defined in left section) to the right section to be considered in list of Source work item on which analysis would be performed.

12. By default, Description, Acceptance Criteria, Repro Steps and Steps will be selected which user can remove if required.

Note: ID, Title, and Work item Type pre-selected fields which cannot be removed.
13. User can select other work item fields from the dropdown for any work item type.

14. Ranked AI models configured in the Admin Panel will be displayed for each corresponding feature on the Home Page.

15. Click on Custom instructions option at top right of the breadcrumb, a right panel opens.


16. From the right panel user will be able to see the AI Service selected in the Admin also able to Choose Type of Conversation Style such as “More Creative”, “More Balanced” or “More Precise”. Furthermore, user can Choose Output Length such as “Long”, “Medium” or “Short”. Users also have the option to specify the Response Language and even include any Custom instructions which will be added with the default prompt.

a. Users can rewrite their custom instructions using the Rewrite Prompt option in the Impact Assessment function with a single click, producing structured, complete, and accurate instructions—using the AI model selected from the "AI Model Auto Selection and Ranking" section for “Rewrite Prompt” under the General tab in Admin panel.

17. Click on the "Perform Analysis" button at the bottom right of the window to view the impact analysis in the Result tab.

18. The result will now be displayed in the Result tab. The table will only show the impacted work items matching the user defined criteria of Impacted score.

19. Work item(s) shown in Results tab would display with icon to expand only if that impacted work item has linked work item(s) in ADO.

Note: The expand icon displayed in the table will be green initially, indicating that it has linked work items in ADO that have not yet been analyzed.
When the user clicks on the icon, the system will expand and analyze whether the linked work items are impacted. Once analyzed, the icon will turn black, signifying that the hierarchy has been evaluated. Even if collapsed, the black icon will remain, representing that these work items have been analyzed. Conversely, any green icons will indicate that the linked work items are still pending analysis.
20. Users can either manually expand and check the impacted work items or click on the "Analyze Next Level" link located above the table. This option will expand all the work items in the results table to the next level and analyze them simultaneously.

Note: When a user clicks on the icon to expand, the system will analyze whether the linked work items are going to be impacted based on the
defined Impacted Score configuration. If there are work items that meet all the conditions and are impacted by the change, they will be displayed in the hierarchy, indented to the right. If no work items are impacted by the change, a message will be displayed on the row: "No Impact Found."
21. To save the result click on the Save As button.

22. Select either "Word" or "PDF" from the dropdown menu to download the Impact Assessment Report in the desired format.
